IKONIX were engaged by Loud Events to design a fresh innovative stage set for the 2019 APSA awards.
The Vision
Our vision was to create a unique border around a central screen that doubles as an effective photo backdrop for award photos.

The Process
We drafted some design ideas on a whiteboard and once we had an idea finalised, we drew this up in cad and created a 3D model of the stage set so we could see what this would look like in the room.
Once the design and size of the stage set was finalised, we worked with our set builder to construct this. The frame was constructed in 8 sections that were assembled onsite with clips attached to the front side holding the ROE LED strips. The custom sized projection screen was then rigged in front of this with the end result being a dynamic backdrop merging projection and LED.
